We were approached by Geri Atrick, a wonderful drag queen to do an old fashioned bathing costume for her.

As an older drag queen, she was attracted to Victorian era bathing suits as they offered more modesty and coverage than more modern ones. They also accentuated the eccentric and old school aspects of her drag persona.

We began with a traditional look of a bathing costume but, as this was being designed for a drag queen whose signature accessory is her wild pink sunglasses, we made trim that incorporated colours that worked to accentuate her eyewear.

Geri Atrick premiered this outfit at the Toronto Pride Parade on North Bay Pride’s float. She danced the day away to the cheers of the crowd! We cannot wait to work with this fun and flamboyant performer again to bring more looks to life!
